LOS ANGELES — James Fauntleroy grew up in Inglewood and is giving back to the community with the 1500 Sound Academy.
He was already won four Grammys as a writer and producer, working with the likes of Bruno Mars, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake and many more. Now, his critically acclaimed career has taken a new turn.
For the first time, Fauntleroy is nominated as an artist himself. He’s up for best progressive R&B album with friend and Los Angeles-native Terrace Martin for their six-track project, “Nova.”
Fauntleroy also recently released his first full album, “Warmest Winter Ever.”
